Free Vision Screening Set Dr. Russell Brear and Dr. Darin Bowers will offer free preschool vision screens for children at Commonwealth Eye Center from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 27. “We will look for lazy eyes and other eye conditions that affect young children’s health and school performance,” explained Dr. Brear. “It is important to be sure that your children’s vision will not hold them back in school.” The screen especially targets three to five-year-olds who are entering school, but children of any ages will be examined. Commonwealth Eye Center is in the lower level of the Physicians’ Office Building on Sunset Lane. For more information, call 82^3655.
