Janet Lynn Jenkins uoason or Sperryville and Christopher Stephen Womack of Mendenhall, Miss, were united in marriage Sunday, June 5 at Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church in Spenyville.
The double ring ceremony, held at 6 p.m. was performed by the Rev. L. Starke Jones and Lay Minister Jon Heddleston.
Music was performed by Bernie Price and Angela Keys, who sang "Endless Love” and "Love Can Build a Bridge.”
The bride is the daughter of C. E. and Linda J. Dodson of Sperryville. The groom is the son of the late Jerry and Katie Womack of Mendenhall, Miss.
Given in marriage by her family the bride was escorted by her brother Daniel S. J. Dodson also of Sperryville.
The bride wore a white satin gown, with a sweetheart neckline, fitted applique bodice, and a cathedral train. The veil was floor length with a headpiece of pearls and lily of the valley. The bride carried a bouquet of rubrum lilies and white roses.
The maid of honor was Angela Keys of Slate Mills, friend of the bride. She wore a black floor length taffeta gown, with an off the shoulder portrait collar. She carried a bouquet of rubrum lilies, dusty pink roses and queen ann’s lace. -
The bridesmaids were Ann Marie Jenkins of Culpeper, cousin of the bride, Stacy Womack Means of Morton, Miss., sister of the groom, and Teresa Gilbert of Newport News,
