Warren Memorial
Blue Ridge OB/GYN Services and Warren Memorial Hospital are welcoming a new physician to the local medical community this month.
Michael W. Corbin, M.D., will practice obstetrics and gynecology at Blue Ridge OB/GYN Services, located in Suite B of the Warren Memorial Hospital Medical Office Building, 1077 North Shenandoah Avenue, 635-4043. Dr. Corbin plans to begin seeing patients Aug. 15.
Dr. Corbin received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland. He was awarded full athletic scholarships (football, basketball and track and field) and also served as an alternate for the high jump on the 1980 U.S. Olympic Team.
He earned his medical degree from the Georgetown University School of Medicine and completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the State University of New York Health Science Center at Syracuse.
