LFCC Classes at High School Office Systems and Procedures 1 is the next class in the Office Systems Technology Program (Administrative Assistant Specialization) offered by Lord Fairfax Community College at Rappahannock County High School. The three credit class will be held on Tuesdays beginning Aug. 23 from 5:30-8:30 p.m. The cost of the class is $135.90 ($45.30 per credit) plus an additional charge for textbooks. Reunion planned The annual reunion of the family of the late Alfred and Catherine Gearing Jenkins will be held Sunday, Aug. 14 at the Rappahannock Park near Washington. All friends and relatives are urged to attend.

Booster Club To Meet The Rappahannock Athletic Booster Club will be having a meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 at Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in joining this Club is welcome to attend.
Creekside Village Festival Creekside Village will hold its first-ever “Creekside Village Festival” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20. This event is free to j the public and will feature live music, concessions, a clown, face painting, animal balloons, and a magic show. In addition, participating merchants will sponsor in store-events and giveaways. Creekside Village is located in Winchester, take 1-81 to exit 310, one mile north on Rt. 11, left at first light into Creekside Village. Call 703-662-0270 for details.
