problems with wells in the county.

Neither study presented a particularly alarming picture.

Mr. Dennis said the county needed a study of the quantity of underground water available.

The Planning Commission took this recommendation to heart and instead of going ahead with a study of one of the village areas decided to pursue the possibility of having a study of the quantity of underground water done.

After many months County Administrator John McCarthy brought to the Planning Commission a proposal by the U.S. Geological Service to do an analysis of the information already available. The U.S.G.S. would take on $10,000 of the projected $20,000 cost, and the county would be expected to pick up the other $10,000.
