Prince Michel is celebrating winning a gold medal for its ultra-premium Le Ducq Lot 89 at North American’s largest international competition, the 1995 Inter Vin International. A classic Bordeaux style blend, the Lot 89, as with all wines in the Le Ducq series, is a product of Prince Michel’s 20-acre vineyard in the Napa Valley.
In April, judges from both the United States and Canada evaluated 2000 wines form 27 countries. “Winning a gold medal truly places you among the best of the best,” said David Male, vice president of Inter Vin. Price Michel was the only Virginia winery among 35 American wineries selected as gold medalists.
The Le Ducq series represents Prince Michel’s finest red wine, rivaling the world’s greatest.
