Characterized by a deep ruby color with aromas of cedar and chocolate, the Lot 89 offers delightful berry fruit flavors. Only 5400 bottles were produced of this wine.

“This is an outstanding wine with great aging potential,” said Chris Johnson, director of winemaking operations at Prince Michel. Consulting for the winemaking team at Prince Michel is Bordeaux enologist Jacques Boissenot who also works for such renowned wineries as Lofite-Rothschild and Chateau Margaux.

Prince Michel de Virginia is located 75 miles south of Washington, D.C. in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

The winery recently opened a wineshop at the Patriot Plaza in Williamsburg.
