Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown and daughters, Amanda and Bobbie Jo and Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark returned home Thursday night after vacationing for eight days at Eagle’s Nest Camp Ground in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. Places of interest they enjoyed were the Cherokees in the Smokey Mountains, The Passion Play in Gatlinsburg, Dollywood, Clingman's Dome, and the Dixie Stampede Dinner Theatre. Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Brown celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary on Friday, June 16 while on vacation.

Our condolences to Mrs. Frances Eubank and family on the passing of her son, Bob Eubank.

Mr. Larry Davis of Winchester was a recent visitor of his daughter, Mrs. Melody Richardson and they had lunch in Culpeper.

Father’s Day, June 18th Mr. and Mrs. John Clark Jr., Amanda and Stacey were among guests for a cookout at the home of Mr. and Mrs. John M. Clark in Sperryville.

Mr. Kermit Weakly is now residing at Sunny Slope Home for Adults in Flint Hill. His wife, Katherine says he is doing fine.

Sunday, June 24 Mr. and Mrs. Edward M. Clark entertained with birthday cake and ice cream for Mrs. Sarah Brown’s birthday. The beautiful bake was baked by her sister, Mrs. Ann Simmons, others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Brown, Mr. and Mrs. Tim Falls, Samantha and Robert of Woodville, Richard Simmons, Bobby Brown and daughters, Amanda and Bobbie Jo.

We wish Sam Snead a speedy recovery for his recent tractor accident which injured his foot.

Donald Keyser of Alexandria, Mrs. Jeanetta Pullen of Flint Hill and Mrs. Addie Keyser attended the Horton family reunion at the Castleton fire hall on Saturday.
