PR1CE ESTIMATE NOT - - £
AN APPRAISAL Real estate brokerage is primarily; a listing and selling business. It is> no secret that almost every real estate office would like the opportunity to list your home for sale. Many offices offer market price estimates at no charge tQ homeowners. A market price estimate usually consists of an agent previewing the interior and exterior of the home and, b4s£d on his or her experience, verbally estimating the value of that home. The verbal market estimate' is" $ reasonable “guesstimate" ana* although it could be right on the mark as the best selling price,'* should not be mistaken for a formal written appraisal which may be needed for insurance or legal matters. An appraisal is a written report based on the research of variables, such as comparable! sales, land values, zoning, construction costs, market and financing conditions, etc. Don’t confuse the two. A free market estimate is a rough sales planning tool. An appraisal is a defendabld formal document. If there is anything we can do UJ help you in the Held of real estate; please stop in at EILEEN M.
