The services of a bookmobile may be in the future of the Rappahannock County Public Library.
In developing the five-year plan for the library — a project required by the state for receiving funds — the Library Board set as its first goal providing a collection of high demand, high interest materials for people of all ages. One,objective under this goal is to consider an outreach program to community members who cannot get to the library.
An example of that might be to get library books to older citizens in residential care facilities, librarian Patti Holmes said at last week’s Library Board meeting.
Other suggestions included getting books out to areas such as Chester Gap and Amissville.
