Fugitives Arrested
Two of the fugitives listed in the Rappahannock News story last week on Sheriff John Henry Woodward’s “most wanted” list have been arrested, although the newspapaer story was responsible for only one of the arrests.
John Joseph Messick was arrested in Elkins, W. Va. on unrelated charges last Wednesday. West Virginia authorities checked and found he was wanted in Rappahannock and Orange counties.
Joanne H. Jenkins turned herself in last Thursday after her family saw the newspaper story. She is at the Rappahannock County jail.
