oe an open discussion of Cliff Miller’s proposed village concept for Sperryville. Mr. Harris is on the community advisory panel for Mr. Miller.
Using the Resource Center as a base, he wants to expand the coordination of educational and recreational projects that he has already started, such as hikes, natural history projects, environmentally balanced living practices and providing general information about the region to the public.
The hikes, which he leads nearly every weekend that weather permits, are done locally in places such as White Oak Canyon, Old Rag (especially full moon hikes), Mary’s Rock, and several other places, many within Shenandoah National Park. A schedule is available at the Resource Center, or information can be obtained by calling the Center at 6751879.
