Dr. and Mrs. Charles A. Wilson have returned to their home here, “Thistle Hill Bed and Breakfast” from a trip which began Sept. 14 and ending on Sept. 25.
They traveled to Rochester, New York to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Conti to attend the surprise birthday party for Mr. Conti, Mrs. Wilson’s cousin, who was celebrating his fiftieth birthday and also to the home of Dr. and Mrs. Kenneth Dehart in North Hill, Vermont, when their daughter, Mrs. Dehart also celebrated her 50th birthday.
En route from Rochester to Vermont they visited in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, North Hatley and Quebec. Along the way they stayed in several two and three star Bed and Breakfast Inns where the kind owners shared many of their recipes, these in the future, according to the Wilsons will be served here at Thistle Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Racer, Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Bowles, Miss Christy Keys and Tim Kling spent Sunday in Richmond attending the State Fair.
Joe Peregory, son Joseph and daughter, Jennifer of Castleton Ford Road attended the Family Scouting weekend at Camp Rock Enon near Gore. In their absence, Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville spent the time with her niece, Mrs. Peregory, and on Saturday they shopped in Fredericksburg and dined at the Market Street Restaurant.
