The Ragged Mountain Resource Center, located on Main Street in Washington, is a community oriented organization focussing on sustainability in the Blue Ridge Mountain bioregion, said Hunt Harris.
Mr. Harris’s tenure as president of the Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection (RLEP) ends on November 1 so that he can devote more time to the Resource Center. He said that he felt it was time to put distance between himself and RLEP as projects consume a lot of time. “I am taking a step aside, not down or up,” he said.
His last RLEP annual meeting as president will be held on Oct. 19 at the Sperryville Fire Hall at 7 p.m., and all are invited to attend. The second half of the meeting, he said, will
