Brentsville’s Eggleston placed first in the race, running the course in nineteen minutes flat. Eighth-grader Matt Wolfe was the first from Rapp, placing second overall at 19:31. Rigjjt behind him was Nile Watson, third in the race. RJ White and Ryland Pace were the second pair of consecutive Panthers, placing fifth and sixth. Chad Heddleston finished eighth overall, the last Rappahannock runner to score.

Meghan Fairbrother, an eighth grader, was the first girl overall in the developmental race, running a time of 24:39.

Coach Dave van de GraafT said it was a very' well run race and called it “a positive win in a good season with high expectations.”

Their next home meet will be at 5 p.m. on Oct. 11.
