district races with a time of 21:20. Brentsville took the meet with a score of 38. Rappahannock placed second with 44 points. Strasburg (61) came in third while Clarke (76) placed fourth. Page did not field a team for lack of runners.
Junior Holly Gangel was the first Panther to cross the finish line, placing third in the meet at 21:45. Jessie Gheen, a freshman, came in fifth overall. Caroline Baumgardener edged out Lauren Sharp for eleventh place. Both finished with the same time. Myriam Lathouille, Emily Sims and Robyn Kaye were Rapp’s fifth, sixth and seventh runners.
