I am a frequent visitor to Madison County as my family lives on Route 231 at the turn to Old Rag. Each year I see the results of the influx of hikers during “leaf session.’’ Litter increases and more traffic accidents occur with people trying to maneuver the narrow roads that lead to Old Rag.
Please help me, my family and my neighbors and encourage the Park Service to boldly enforce this measure.
