Mr. and Mrs. Richard Simmons have returned home after vacationing in the mid-west for 16 days.

In Nashville, Tenn. they enjoyed the dinner-cruise aboard the General Jackson. They also toured Opryland museum and heard lots of good music. Katherine State Park in Hot Springs, Arkansas, home of President Clinton was a lovely overnight spot. Joining Mr. and Mrs. Simmons in San Antonio, Texas were Mr. and Mrs. Terry Boucher of Mac Clesfiled, England. In San Antonio, Texas they enjoyed the Riverwalk a couple of nights, went to the Alamo, had lunch in the Tower of the American’s, toured museums and was delighted to have seen their friends from England.

The Simmons enjoyed Dallas night lights, then on to Del City, Oklahoma where they visited Mr. Ben Pool for an evening. Next was Branson, Missouri where they went to Mel Tillis’ Theater, attended the Dixie Stampede for a dinner-show, toured the Stove Hill Winery for a tour and sampling, visited the shops and heard more country music.

One evening they went into Eurecka Spring, Arkansas to attend the Passion Play, The Potters Sermon and gospel music.
