Earl Wellington Duvall, age 88 of Flint Hill, died Saturday, Dec. 2 at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Funeral services were held at the Flint Hill United Methodist Church on Wednesday with the Rev. Merlin Shorb and Rev. John.Pendleton officiating. Interment was in the Flint Hill Cemetery. »
Mr. Duvall was born May 20* 1907, in Hoadley, Va., the son of the late Richard Hamilton and Harriet Blanche Yoemans Duvall. ■ ' ' >
He was a member of the Flint Hill! United Methodist Church, served in! the U. S. Navy during World War II,! retired from Washington D.C. transit! with 41 years of service, farmer and! life member of the William R.; Singleton-Hope-Lebanon Masonic Lodge #7 of Washington D.C.
Mr. Duvall was a native of Virginia and resident of Rappahannock County, since 1972.
Surviving are his wife of 62 years, Floy B. Duvall of Flint Hill; one brother, Richard H. Duvall of Woodbridge; five sisters, Hazel; Fritter of Hyattsville, Md., Mabel Duvall Jr. of Arlington, Edith Smith of Buchanan, Nancy Isham of Springfield and Elexia Rowan of Stafford.
A Masonic memorial service was held at the Turner-RobertshaW Funeral Home in Front Royal. By; Unity Lodge #146 A.F.A.M.
Pallbearers were Francis Florence, Bradley Isham, Gene Florence, John Warren Duvall, Rich Duvall and Quentin Duvall.
