Monday evening Rapp’s Volleyball teams held their first home games against the Strasburg Rams. The varsity team played two fairly strong games, but lost both. The JV team showed plenty of pluck but also dropped the match in two games.
In the first Varsity game the Rams got a quick 3-0 lead. However, with Angela Atkins serving, The Panthers picked up three points for a tie.
Strasburg later hit the ball out of bounds, and the Panthers regained the serve down one point, 6-5.
A few moments later Strasburg had secured a five point lead and Rapp called a time out.
Rapp made a strong cbme back but just couldn’t pull ahead and lost ■15 to 11.
