The seedlings are “bare root stock” averaging 8-15 inches or more. They have been grown 2-3 years from genetically improved seed by the Virginia Department of Forestry and are kept in cold storage until pickup. The deadline to order seedlings is March 1, 1996, and the seedlings will be available for pickup at the end of March. Those who order will be notified by mail of the date, location and time of pickup.
