It’s not too often I feel compelled to commend the local Sheriffs Office on a job well done.
On Saturday, Nov. 18, I requested assistance from the local authorities to help apprehend an assault and trespass suspect. Within less than three minutes, Connie Compton and Ray Jackson arrived on the scene to help control the situation. After a quick briefing on the situation, the officers offered assistance to remove the suspect.
Less than five minutes later the officers apprehended the suspect from a vehicle and escorted him off the premises. At the time I was hosting an invitation-only birthday celebration which remained undisturbed and under control thanks to Connie Compton and Ray Jackson.
On behalf of myself and my guests, I’d like to say thank you for handling the situation in such a professional and respectable manner. It’s good to know there are actual police officers in the county who believe their job is to protect and serve the community.
