CSC Will Not Operate
CSC Transit will not operate on Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of President’s Day. CSC Transit is a program of the RappahannockRapidan Community Services Board.
CSC Transit serves the general public as well as clients of the Rappahannock-Rapidan Community Services Board in the five counties of Planning District 9.
Benefit Dance Planned
The Ululating Mummies from Richmond will be playing at a Sadie Hawkins dance at the Washington Fire Hail on Feb. 24. The dance is a benefit for Spring Mountain School and will run from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Admission is $7 for all ages and refreshments will be available. A prize will be given for the best costume.
Dance Scheduled
The Amissville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17. Southern Persuasion will be the band performing. No reservations requjred. For more information call Shelia Scott at 937-4357.
Committee To Meet
The Odd Fellows Cemetary Committee will have their regular fund night at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15 at the Pine Knot Inn.
Survivors Group To Meet

The Magic of Ballroom
The local Community Concert Association announces the fourth event in its 1995-96 series of live professional entertainment will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 20 at Culpeper County High School. “The Magic of Ballroom” includes a big band and The Fred Astqire Studio Dancers. Admission is by season subscription ticket only. The final date if for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 23 and features pianist-comedian, Dale Gonyea, who performs in the style of Victor Borge. This will be free for new subscribers to the association’s 1996-97 series of dance, classical and popular concerts.
