Advisory Committee To Meet

The Special Education Advisory Committee of Rappahannock County Public Schools will meet at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 22 in Room 23 of Rappahannock County High School. The committee will see a video on “Negotiating Special Education Conflicts.” The meeting is open to the public.

Baseball Registration

Rappahannock Athletic Association (RAA) will hold registration for basebail/softball from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturdays, Feb. 17 and 24 at Amissville United Methodist Church and~Rappahannock County Library. Parents are requested to bring registration fee and original or notarized copy of birth certificate.

Education Support Group To Meet

The February meeting of the First Thursday Education Support Group has been rescheduled for 7 p.m. on Feb. 22 at the Rappahannock Extension Office, Washington Arts Building, Gay Street” The School Budget Process will be the focus of the meeting and speakers, Dr. John Tole, Chairman of the School Board, and Mr. Hubert Gilkey, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, will give their perspectives on this year’s difficult budget sessions. All are welcome to attend, we especially need input from high school parents.

Support Group To Meet

The Parkenson’s Disease Support Group will meet every second Saturday of the month at St. John’s Old School Building in Warrenton. For more information call 349-1344.

On Saturday, Feb. 24 bloodmobile. Bus will be at Hugo’s Skating Rink in Lois. 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
