I can speak from experience about the times that I was exposed to the military use of weapons at the age of nine. I was just a small boy during the invasion in Belgium. I have lived through those so-called “sports and collection” purposes, and I have personally seen more casualties due to guns than there are graves in Rappahannock County.
Furthermore, if this administration feels that we really should put these guns on the market, let’s put our own people to work. Producing these guns in this country would keep the American taxpayers’ money here where it belongs. There is no doubt in my mind after reading the article and listening to President Clinton, that we have a person at the helm of our country who is an expert in talking out of both sides of his mouth. After all it does take a good politician to be able to talk for two hours and not say one word. Is it not time that the people in this country stand up and vote those phonies out of office? I, for one, will do my share in the coming election.
