All three accidents reported in the county this past week were caused by icy roads.
Last Thursday, a three-car accident took place at 7:18 a.m. on Route 707, .2 mile west of Route 604. Lawrence B. Church, 58, of Sperryville, lost control of his 1979 Chevy 2-door on an icy curve on Route 707. He struck a 1990 Dodge pickup driven by Ronnie Lester Jenkins, 41, of Sperryville. Next, a 1990 Pontiac driven by Kathryn Hoffman Gwyn, 40, of Sperryville ' came around the icy curve and struck Mr. Jenkins’s truck.
The accident was investigated by Trooper Chuck Moore, and nobody was charged in the accident. According to the report filed, Mr. Jenkins was injured. His truck sus
