The Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors is soliciting bids on purchases of various types and grades of gravel and stone (and delivery of same) for use in operations of the Rappahannock County Landfill located on Weaver Road, (State Route 639), in Amissville, Rappahannock County. Amounts of material purchased and frequency of the purchases vary seasonally, and are dependent upon traffic and other factors.
The term of the contract shall be for twelve months, from March 1, 1996 through Feb 28, 1997, but may be extended for two additional twelve (12) month periods upon agreement of both parties. The terms of Competitive Sealed Bidding as set forth in the Virginia Public Procurement Act shall apply.
