Charles Jenkins
Charles Lester Jenkins, 80, of Woodville, died on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
He was born Jan. 14, 1916, in Rappahannock County.
Mr. Jenkins served in the U.S. Army during World War H. He worked for George K. Miller as a farmer for 57 years.
Survivors include one daughter, Alberta Fitzgerald of Fairfax; two sons, Melvin Jenkins of Vienna and Tommy Jenkins of Manassas.
He is also survived by nine grandchildren, Charles Napier, Mike Jenkins, Timmy Jenkins, Charles E. • Jenkins, Tonya Jenkins, Patty Jenkins, Charlie Jenkins, Joe Jenkins and Christina Jenkins and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mr. Jenkins was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jenkins.
Funeral services were held on Friday, Feb. 9 at Nethersmill Lighthouse Tabernacle with the Rev. Charles Clinedinst officiating.
Interment followed in Etlan Cemetery with military honors.

Annie Jenkjns
Annie Elizabeth lienkins, 77, Martinsburg, W.Va., died Monday at City Hospfital in Martinsburg.
Graveside services were conducted Thursday, Feb. 8 in Washington Masonic Cemetery by the Rev. Robert L. White.
Mrs. Jenkins was born July 9, 1918, in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late George William and Annie P. Fincham Payne.
She was the wife of the late George Washington Jenkins.
Surviving are a son, Roger W. Jenkins of Martinsburg; four brothers, Warren Payne of Richmond, Jack Payne or Gordonsville, James Payne of Strasburg and Lee Payne of Woodville and sister, Aileen Jenkins of Orange.
She is also survived by four grandchildren.
Turner-Robertshaw Funeral Home in Front Royal was in charge of the arrangements.
