Gentlemen, if you don t get time to get your sweetheart red roses or something else special for Valentine’s day today, I’m sure she would cherish a love letter from you — include all the special things you recall — whether you’ve been married for many years, few, or still dating.

Ladies, when you do receive roses, keep them longer by cutting about an inch off at a 90 degree angle and get into room temperature water within a minute to prevent the cut from sealing. Don’t lift the roses out of the water, but just raise enough to flush fresh water into the vase until clear, every two days. An aspiring may be substituted for rose food.
