There were two overall winners for best projects, one for the Junior and one for the Senior Division. They received a plaque, a medallion and a form to fill to receive a $50 savings bond each. Lainie Morgan was the Senior Division overall winner ami Ralph Place was the Junior Division overall winner for die second year in a row.
Mr. Place said he was glad to win again and looking forward to regionals. His exhibit this year was called "How the Mountains Affect the Rain" while last years exhibit was about truss busting which tested the strength of truss bridges.
Assistant Superintendent Mary Anne Biggs gave out the awards at an assembly on Friday afternoon.
"I'm really impressed by all your exhibits ami congratulations to all of you," she said. “The judges had a hard time deciding on who to award ribbons to."
