Valentine's Dinner Planned
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is sponsoring a Valentine’s dinner on Feb. 15 from 5:30 to 8 p.m., at the Rappahannock Elementary School.
The menu will include one-half barbecue chicken, wild rice, peas, salad, rolls, dessert and beverages for $8 or $15 for a couple. There is also a special child’s menu for children 8 and under for $3.50. The dinner will be prepared by Pat Jenkins and Shirley Frye who have been in the business totaling over 40 years. Valentine's Day Dance Set
Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter #752 is proud to host a dance featuring Riverbottom from 8 p.m. to 12 midnight on Saturday, Feb. 15 at Amissville Volunteer Fire Hall on US 211 in Amissville. 4-H Share-the-Fun Show Planned
The 4-H Share The Fun Talent Show will be held at 5 p.m. on Feb. 15 at the Rappahannock County High School. Anyone interested in performing can pick up information at Rappahannock County Elementary, High School or the Extension Office.
Rehearsal is Feb. 13 at the Rappahannock County High School auditorium at 3:30 p.m. In case of high school closing or early dismissal due to weather conditions, rehearsals will be canceled. For further information, please call the Extension Office at 675-3619 or Hazel Zinn-Day at 937-3185.
penefit Dance at RCHS
Come enjoy a super evening of live entertainment by “The Southern Persuasion Band” at a benefit dance at Rappahannock County High School from 8 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15. Bring your favorite dance partnei and celebrate Valentine’s Day in style. Highlights of the evening will be: beautiful fresh roses for sale; door prizes; a raffle and refreshments. Admission is $5.
