Slide Show, Talk Planned
A slide show and talk. Association: Wild Flower and Birds, by John Trott will be presented at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at the Marshall Community Center. This program, presented by the Piedmont Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society, is free to the public.
Volunteer Tax Help
Free tax assistance is available to people on low and middle incomes to complete federal and state income tax forms. Trained volunteers will be at the Rappahannock County Library on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Bring your 1996 tax package, all W2 and 1099 forms and last years return. Program sponsored by IRS, AARP and Va. Cooperative Extension.

The Rappahannock County Health Department will have a Walk-in Clinic from 8:30 to 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 24.

Benefit Program Planned
George Washington Carver Regional High School Alumni Association, Inc. presents the First Black History program to be held at 4 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 16 at George Washington Carver Piedmont Technical Education Center. The theme will be “We've Come This Far." Proceeds will benefit the scholarship fund.
