A total of 200 students from f fifth grade through eighth grade comf peted in the fair for the chance to take their project on to the regional comi petition which will be held at Piedmont Community College in - Charlottesville on March II, The . first and second place winners in the Junior and Senior Divisions, in each r category, will go on to tegionals. The . fourth grade students also exhibited , projects but are not yet eligible for T regional competition.
"It’s hairy and hectic to put up . ; but once it's up it is really great to • .'.See,* said fourth grade science C teacher Lilo Wolfe. "I taught fourth grade last year and this year I'm i teaching sixth, and it's neat to see •their growth."
"The seniors will probably all go ^to the regionals," she said, "because ,, we don't have that many kids in that group. We hope the amount of senior ^^participants will grow."
