The Lady Panthers lost two games over the spring break, but took the field again on Monday beating Luray 21-8. Starting pitcher Margo Haynes pitched all three games for Rappahannock. Haynes struck out five batters against Strasburg and collected two more strike outs aginst Stonewall Jackson. On Monday, she struck out a seasonhigh seven batters against Luray. She gave up only four hits to Strasburg and held both Stonewall Jackson and Luray to just six hits. “Margo’s pitching has really improved. She is doing a great job of keeping the ball around the plate making the other teams hit the ball,” said Coach Carl Payne.
