Corrections Last week’s article about the rabid skunk contained an error. A phone call from an animal expert said that opossums rarely have rabies, and that when they are young they do walk around like they are confused. Other animals to add to the list of possibly rabid animals are bats and occasionally ground hogs (woodchucks). The prior week’s article on the Lions’ vision and hearing van contained an error. Their scholarship money of $1150 was donated to the Paul Nichols Scholarship which is being administered by the Episcopal Church. The Boy Scouts contributions for the plaque at the County Park was in memory of Kirk Davis who lost his life in the Flood of ‘95.
