Sunday afternoon was an exciting event in town at the Inn where Andrea Mitchell and Alan Greenspan of Washington, D.C. were married. My husband and I drove out and parked across from the Inn and saw the Greenspans, John Warner and Mr. and Mrs. Colin Powell when they came out after the wedding.

Saturday Ms. Betty Menefee of Manassas and her mother, Mrs. Frances Eubank had lunch at the China Jade Restaurant in Front Royal.

Mr. and Mrs. John Eubank of Sperryville and Mrs. Frances Eubank had lunch at Country Cookin Restaurant in Warrenton on Sunday.

Best wishes to Troy and Patsy Baker who have an 18th wedding anniversary on Monday, April 14.

On Thursday, March 27 the Rappahannock Area Girl Scouts of the V.S.G.S.C. enjoyed an evening of ice skating in Charlottesville, 35 girls and 20 adult leaders and mothers attended.

The scouts also went roller-skating at Max’s Roller Rink in Front Royal on Saturday, April 5. Everyone had a great time.
