Kreyling got one of the highest scores for her riding out of 150 competitors. Riders and parents are proud of everyone’s performances.

Each child rides two prescribed “tests.” Each test consists of a set pattern of maneuvers in a small arena. Then they ride a “kur,” which is a selfchoreographed pattern in time to music. They are very strictly judged on the exactness with which they perform all of the moves. It is a sport of precision. The riders are also judged on how well they are “turned-out,” how well their horse is groomed, how neat their stalls are, and a written test on horsemanship.
