On May 24th the home of Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Grigsby was the setting for a patty honoring their daughter, Chrissy, who had graduated from Massanova Christian Academy.

Those present besides Chrissy’s brothers Kevin and Jason were her grandparent's Mr. and Mrs. Edward Dean of Dunn, North Carolina, granddaughter, Amy also of Dunn, and Gary Dean of Richmond.

Others attending were Mr. and Mrs. Tony Ritchick of Hopewell, Mrs. Effie Thompson and daughter, Charlene of Bealeton, Mrs. Lottie Savage and Mrs. Frances Savage, both of Woodstock, Mr. and Mrs. Eldridge Grigsby of Chester Gap, Mrs. Pat Woodard, daughter Anna and Miss Cathy Grigsby of Amissville.

Also Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bragg and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky Kelly and son from Culpeper.

Those present from the Castleton area were Mr. and Mrs. Shelvy Frazier, Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Heflin and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Pittman and son, Mrs. Patsy Whorton and daughters, Jo Anna and Deborah, Aaron Hawkins, Joey Pullen, Crystal Mills and Mrs. Jeny Mills and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family and Rev. L.D. Savage.

Mrs. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal were also in attendance.

Hearty congratulations to the seniors of Rappahannock High School and especially to the ones in our area nafnely, Michelle Switzer, Kylene Wolfe, Fran Overdorf, Eric Smith and Jonathan Whorton, who will be graduating on Saturday.

Belated birthday wishes go out to Ernie Updike on Route 707, who celebrated his day on Monday.

Mrs. Betty Weaver was a Thursday guest of Mrs. Ray Frazier on Turkey Ridge Road. Satuiday Mrs. Frazier and son, Christopher accompanied by Mrs. Alvin Atkins of Sperryville were shoppers in Fredericksburg and had lunch at Country Cookin.

On Sunday, May 25, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peregory of Front Royal were here and with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Peregory and family dined at Country Cafe in Washington for a belated Mother’s Day
