If you didn’t get to attend this year’s event you certainly should plan on attending next year. It promises to be even bigger and better. An event like this can only take place with the help from many key individuals that are too numerous to mention.
A special thanks to the Rappahannock County Elementary School administration, faculty, staff and students, and the county volunteers that gave countless hours. Capt. Jeff Brown is instrumental in teaching DARE in the classrooms but it takes many people to prepare for DARE/Field Day. This event is only possible with all members of the Rappahannock County Sheriff’s Office working together as one.
The ultimate success of this event lies with the members of the Sheriff’s Office that work behind the scene and on the scene to make this day educational and fun for all.
This is a worthwhile effort to continue to educate our children, parents and community members on the importance of drug and violence awareness.
We look forward to the Third Annual DARE/Field Day with great anticipation.
