Anna’s favorite sport is swimming. She is a member of the South Wales swim team, and will work as a lifeguard and swimming teacher this summer. Her name also appears in the Who’s Who for mathematics. She received several awards at the academic awards assembly last Friday — she was named, along with John Arnold, the Tandy Technology Scholar for being in the top two percent of her class, received a special award as a Rapport senior, and was honored as the top student in both physics and calculus. She is the daughter of Bob and Patty Metcalfe of Flint Hill.
