Anna Metcalfe, the Valedictorian, said that this year has been especially meaningful for her. She talked about the sense of community in Rappahannock County, and how she’ll never forget how the students stood around the flag pole praying and remembering Mary Beth Williams.

“It is this sense of community that makes this school and county the beautiful place it is,” she said. She encouraged her fellow students to remember Rappahannock and let its spirit continue to grow.

Four teachers received science and education masters’ degrees from Shenandoah University and were recognized at the graduation ceremony: Ron Vickers, Jody Deck, Pat Clark and Carey Brogan.
