He is survived by his wife, Frances M. Hackley of Amissville; four step-daughters, Virginia P. Bland of Raleigh, N.C., Elinor P. White of Durham, N.C., Carol W. Hackley of Amissville and Susie Robinson of Strasburg; three step-sons, Franklin G. Williams of Amissville, Charles Copeland and Joe Copeland, both of Strasburg; one sister, Alice H. Hitt of Amissville and two brothers, Louis Hackley and Edward Hackley, both of Amissville.
He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Wallace Hackley; his mother, Bertha Hackley; his first wife, Edith W. Hackley; one step-son, Marion Phillips and a step-daughter, Mary P. Suter.
Funeral services were held Sunday, June 8 at Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with Rev. Nancy B. White officiating.
Burial followed in the Amissville United Methodist Church Cemetery in Amissville.
