Herman Beard, Jr.
Herman F. Beard, Jr., 60, of ’ Washington died on Monday, June 2.
Mr. Beard was the owner and operator of Beard Plumbing in Manassas. Several years ago they purchased the old Riverside property in Harris Hollow.
Survivors include his wife, Carrol Beard, children Shirley Hall of Front Royal and James Beard; step-children, Teresa Chioffi of the Fairfaxrarea, Bret Jenkins of New York City, Brenda Medwed and Charles Head; one grandson, David N. Beard of Front | Royal; three brothers, Bob Beard, ■ Eddie Beard and Ricky Beard and ' three sisters, Judy Blevins, Ruth • Lanham and Bonnie Bowman. ’
Funeral services were held on r Wednesday at DeMaine Springfield- ' Annandale Chapel in Springfield with Pastor John Burke. Interment was in Mount Comfort Cemetery.
