His wife, Dannie Dawson, is a prominent painter in her own right who specializes in portraiture, figure and still life. Mike and Dannie teach workshops overseas to groups. They will be conducting a workshop in late July in Italy near the Italian Riviera. The workshop will include instruction by sculptor Paul Luccase. Mike will teach landscape painting and Dannie will teach figure and still life. People interested in this workshop should call (703) 271-9032.
