She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles R. “Bob” Lewis.
Mrs. Lewis was postmaster for 43 years at the Huntly Post Office and retired in 1989.
She was a member of the Flint Hill United Methodist Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles E. “Bud” Corder and wife, Virginia of Washington; one granddaughter, Karen C. Peddle and husband, Michael of Front Royal; two greatgrandchildren, Shannon and Dale Peddle of Front Royal; one brother, George M. Nethers of Stephens City, and three sisters, Hilda N. Dennis of Jackson, S.C., Helen N. Coffey and Pauline N. Aylor, both of Sperryville.
