Lemuel Sutphin Jr.
Lemuel William Sutphin, Jr., 78, Of Warrenton, died on Thursday, June S, at his home.
Mr. Sutphin was bom on July 24, 1918, in Amissville, to the late Lemuel W. Sutphin, Sr., and Nealie Virginia Payne Sutphin. ■
He was preceded in death by his ‘ brothers, Ray Sutphin, Randolph Sutphin, Harrison Sutphin and Herman Sutphin.
A former county agent for Fauquier County, Mr. Sutphin also operated the Old Dominion Insurance Agency in Marshall for many years.
He is survived by a brother, Charles Edward Sutphin of Bealeton, and a sister, Edna M. Perdew of Gainesville, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Graveside service were held on Monday, June 9, at Warrenton . Cemetery with the Rev. J. Richard Winter officiating.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
