Also repeating their win of last year, Joseph Kincheloe and his remarkable Garth of Birmingham won the Old Fashioned Point-to-Point Race Championship and were awarded the Ruhsam Perpetual Trophy. Garth also won this championship in 1995 but was ridden by Janet O’Keefe for the series.
