Kenny, he will soon be getting a computer and designing his own website. He will be able to put as many of his illustrations as he wants on the computer where potential clients can see his work immediately. “Every art director has a computer now,” he said.
As many artists do when they move into Rappahannock County, Mr. Kenny gravitated toward the artists and art galleries in the county.
He presently has a show of 17 paintings, including the first one he has done since he moved here (it has a cardinal in it) in the upstairs gallery at Glassworks Gallery on U.S. 211 in Sperryville (across from Mountainside Market).
Two prints of posters that he has produced are also for sale. The opening for his show will be held this Sunday, June 15 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Glassworks Gallery, owned by Eric Kvames, is open Thursdays through Sundays from noon to 6 p.m.
In August, he will be displaying his work at the Rappahannock Library.
