The council approved all three requests unanimously without modification. Gay Street parking and six new spaces for the church office at the rear of the building were part of the original applications and remain requirements for final approval.
According to the plans, there will be no net loss of spaces already provided on the parcel. The church will continue to utilize its parking spaces next to the existing building as well. Should any changes need to be made, because the church is unable to provide parking or rear access, the council will review the permit requests without the church having to submit a new application.
