On Thursday, Nov. 13, the town Architectural Review Board considered five applications. Four relating to routine signs and minor construction were readily approved. The fifth application, from Trinity Episcopal Church, occupied the majority of the meeting.
Chris Hogan, proprietor of the Blue Ridge Bakery and Delicatessen on Main Street, and Edmund Kavanagh, owner of Jewelry by Edmund, requested approval of new signs for their shops.
John Jenkins, a contractor, sought approval for an extension and remodeling of a deck on Joseph Reid’s house on Harris Hollow Road. The existing patio had been weather damaged.
Keven Weisgerber, KCW Contractor, desired approval of a bathroom and laundry room addition to the back of the Gottlieb House on Mount Salem Avenue.
